FIND YOUR MOUNT

These are the 4 most common brake caliper brake mounts for flat bar bicycles

POST MOUNT - DIRECT MOUNT

  • No adapters
  • Installed straight into frame/fork
  • 2 x M6x18mm wide washer

IS MOUNT

  • Caliper + adapter assembly
  • Usually 4 Bolts required

POST MOUNT - 2 Bolt Adapter

  • Requires Conical Washers

POST MOUNT - 4 Bolt Adapter

  • 2x direct mount bolts + 2 shallow bolts required
  • 4x shallow bolts are also a viable option
THE FAILURE
Standard bolts concentrate stress, leading to caliper slot deformation
THE INNOVATION
Our oversized washer system distributes load across 40% more surface area.

Engineering Against Fatigue.

Post-mount brake calipers use elongated slots to allow lateral alignment over the rotor. Those slots remove material from the mounting interface. This reduces the contact area under the bolt head. Under braking loads, clamping force concentrates on a very small portion of the aluminum tab. Over time this can cause:
  • Surface marring
  • Local deformation
  • Loss of alignment stability

Oversized Washer System

Self-centering design ensures perfect alignment every time, eliminating side-loading torque.

Atomic Precision

Cold-rolled threads provide a 30% increase in fatigue life compared to cut threads.
